Luis, Recipient of Mia’s Blessing’s Adopt-a-Family support

Luis Alguera is an 8-year-old boy diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
After being in remission, Luis relapsed in 2022; His prognosis continues to be treated at this time, as he faces many more cycles of chemotherapy and immunotherapy at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Luis’s grandfather has stayed in Nicaragua to try to financially support both Luis and his mother during this time, but they have had many financial problems. Mia’s Miracles stepped in to help the family with two months’ rent to ease the burden on the family. Luis’s mother and grandfather are grateful for the help of Mia’s Miracles; she has allowed her father to feel supported on this journey to help Luis get better.
